Sandy Rawson is a highly experienced and skilled Psychologist with a career spanning over 24 years in both government and private sectors. She holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Charles Sturt University and has comprehensive expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, training, research, and supervision. Sandy has worked with a wide range of populations, across the western and far western regions of NSW including children, adolescents, and adults, addressing complex psychological, emotional, social, and behavioural issues.
Her clinical expertise is complemented by her ability to work across various settings, from government agencies to non-government organisations and private practice. Throughout her career, Sandy has worked in senior roles with organisations such as Uniting Western, Mac River Rehabilitation Centre, and the NSW Department of Justice. In these positions, she managed and led multidisciplinary teams, developed culturally appropriate programs, and contributed to policy development and procedural guidelines.
As a member of the Australian Psychological Society and registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, Sandy remains dedicated to advancing psychological practices and supporting her clients through evidence-based treatment. Angie Weir has dedicated over two decades of experience in managing Non-Government and Government services, specialising in child protection, family preservation and Out of Home Care. Angie holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Criminal Justice Studies) which underpin her expertise in supporting families and individuals in complex and high-risk situations.
Throughout her career, Angie has demonstrated a passion for creating coaching and safe learning environments for teams working in leadership roles. Her collaborative approach and innovative problem-solving skills have been instrumental in driving systemic improvements that prioritise the safety of children and the well-being of families. With extensive experience in program design and implementation, Angie has successfully led initiatives responding to significant sector reforms, including Keep Them Safe (2010) and Permanency Support (2017). Her ability to translate legislative changes into practical, impactful programs underscores her commitment to driving meaningful outcomes for the community.
Angie resides in Dubbo and when you can't find her travelling from town to town across the beautiful red dirt countryside, you’ll find her at the beach.
Bec Smith is a proud Wiradjuri woman from Dubbo, NSW. With over 10 years of experience in the child protection and community services sector and 8 years in leadership roles, Bec is a strong First Nations leader and social worker. Bec has led a range of programs, including Intensive Family Preservation, Specialist Homelessness Services, Youth Services, and Counselling programs, where she has excelled in managing high-pressure situations, providing clinical and group supervision, and fostering positive team cultures focused on continuous improvement and best practice.
Bec is passionate about designing and delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally safe programs that prioritise empowerment and healing. Her commitment to integrating culturally appropriate practices ensures that interventions are not only effective but also deeply respectful of the communities she serves. Through her leadership and creating partnerships, Bec is dedicated to making a lasting impact by creating environments and programs that promote healing and positive outcomes for families and communities.
Courtney is a dedicated professional with a Masters in Professional Psychology. She has experience providing trauma-informed support and coordinating services for individuals facing mental health and psychosocial challenges.
This includes providing client care, working with victims of family violence and supporting diverse clients through complex, multidisciplinary cases.
With strong skills in communication, conflict resolution, and case management, she is committed to furthering her clinical expertise to continue making a meaningful impact on individuals in need of psychological support
